Raine Canine Dog Training

Welcome to Raine Canine Dog Training. These Terms of Service outline the conditions governing the use of our website and the training services we provide. By booking or purchasing our services, clients agree to the applicable terms outlined below.
1. Services & Training Programs
Raine Canine provides professional, personalized dog training throughout Maryland and select surrounding areas. Our services include private in-home training, puppy development, basic and advanced obedience, behavior modification, aggression and reactivity training, service dog foundations, and Board & Train programs.
Training programs are tailored to each dog's individual temperament, behavior, training history, and the owner's goals. Services and program recommendations are determined following an initial evaluation.
2. Complimentary Consultations
Raine Canine offers a complimentary, one-hour, no-obligation consultation to evaluate each dog's training needs, discuss the owner's concerns, and recommend an appropriate training plan.
Consultations do not obligate clients to purchase services or enroll in a training program.
3. Enrollment & Payment
Private training packages and Board & Train programs generally require payment before services begin, unless an alternative payment arrangement has been approved in writing.
Clients who choose an approved payment plan agree to the payment amounts and deadlines specified in their individual training agreement.
Program pricing, session quantities, and services included will be communicated before enrollment.
4. Scheduling & Cancellations
Clients must provide at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a scheduled training session.
Sessions canceled or rescheduled with adequate notice may be rescheduled, subject to availability.
Sessions canceled with less than 48 hours' notice, or missed without notification, may be forfeited and deducted from the client's purchased training package.
Exceptions may be considered individually for emergencies or circumstances beyond the client's reasonable control.
Board & Train reservations may be subject to additional cancellation and refund conditions outlined in the client's written agreement.
5. Refunds & Unused Sessions
Completed training sessions and sessions forfeited under the cancellation policy are non-refundable, subject to applicable law.
Requests involving unused prepaid sessions, early program termination, or changes to an existing training package will be reviewed in accordance with the signed training agreement and applicable Maryland law.
Any approved refund or credit will be communicated to the client in writing.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to provide accurate information regarding their dog's health, medical history, behavioral concerns, and any known history of aggression or biting.
Owners are responsible for maintaining a reasonably safe training environment, following agreed-upon safety protocols, and participating in recommended training exercises.
Consistent owner participation and follow-through are essential components of successful training.
7. Training Results & Expectations
Raine Canine develops individualized training plans using professional knowledge, practical experience, and an understanding of canine behavior.
Because every dog responds differently, specific behavioral outcomes, completion timelines, and permanent results cannot be guaranteed.
Progress depends on factors including the dog's individual needs, environment, consistency, health, and owner participation.
8. Safety & Liability
Working with animals involves inherent risks, including the possibility of bites, scratches, property damage, or other injuries.
Clients agree to disclose known behavioral risks and comply with reasonable safety instructions throughout training.
Responsibility for injuries, losses, or damages will be determined under the applicable training agreement and governing law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Service Areas & Travel
Raine Canine is based in Ellicott City, Maryland, and provides mobile training throughout designated service areas.
Availability outside our standard service region is determined individually. Additional travel arrangements or fees, if applicable, will be disclosed before booking.
10. Website & Intellectual Property
Website content, training materials, educational resources, branding, and other original materials produced by Raine Canine remain the property of Raine Canine unless otherwise stated.
Materials provided to clients are intended for their personal use and may not be reproduced, distributed, or commercially reused without permission.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the applicable laws of the State of Maryland.
Any disputes arising from training services will be addressed in accordance with applicable law and the terms of the client's individual written agreement.
